Can Mike do my taxes if I live in a state other than Michigan?

Yes, Mike is authorized to file taxes from any state.

Will I receive my refund via check or direct deposit?

Either one! Mike can have a check sent to your address or have your refund sent directly to your bank account using the bank routing number and your account number.

Why do I need to bring my driver’s license?

If you are a new client or have had to renew your license within the past year, the IRS requires your driver’s license to be on file for fraud protection. If you have been to Mike and filed before, and your license has not been renewed, then there is no need to have you license.

How long does it take to get my refund?

It typically take 2-3 weeks to receive your refund, but the time varies year to year.

How long will it take for my taxes to be completed if I drop off?

It typically takes Mike 10-14 days to complete your taxes if you drop off. During busy times of tax season, it may take longer.

What can I pay with?

Mike can accept cash, credit/debit, or checks as forms of payment.

I have a small business, can you do my taxes?

Yes, Mike can do taxes for small businesses. Call to discuss business-related income and expenses before your appointment.

How long will my appointment take?

Sit down appointments with Mike typically last one hour. If you know you have a complex return, please inform Mike when booking your appointment.

Do I have to have my W-2 to do my taxes?

Unfortunately, Mike cannot complete your taxes without all of your W-2 forms

Are you accepting new clients?

Yes, Mike is accepting new clients. If you book an appointment, it is very helpful for Mike if you bring your previous years tax documentation.
